What are the available courses?

In undergradute level for Monbusho(Ministry of Science, Culture and Education) ,there are 3 courses available now:

1)College of Technology course(duration:1+3 years)
2)(Direct)Undergraduate course(duration:1+4 years)
3)Special Training College course(duration:1+2 years)(newly introduced since 1998)

In each cases the first year is for the intensive Japanese language course because in undergrad. level the medium of study is Japanese.

Among the 3 courses stated above,the undergrad. course will lead directly to the Bachelor degree.The two other courses need 2 more years in university to complete the Bachelor degree.Here in Japan,the dominating group is College of Tech. course students and everyone of this course so far has successfully advanced to his/her Completion of Bachelor course,Masters course(2 more years) and even Doctoral course(3 more years),so nothing to fear about this course.

WHO ARE COMING:

Let`s take the year 1998 as an example.Students who came to Japan this year were mainly HSC examinees of the year 1996. This year 14 guys made there way to Japan from the 3 above mentioned courses and some of them had the following HSC(1996) results:

Dhaka Board: 1st(Muneer),3rd(Mahbub),5th(Rashed);3rdin 1995(Ehsan).
Jessore Board: 1st(Rahat),2nd(Zafar)
Comilla Board: 1st.(4th was selected but didn`t come to japan)
Rajshahi Board:4th(Ifte)
Chittagong Board: 8th(Borhan)

The following year(1999) also saw guys(HSC 1997) like ashfaq(1st,CB),Mizan(2nd,RB)Munna(4th,JB)Amin(6th,DB) and so on.

These results are mentioned here only to give you an idea that the USA is not the only choice for the students who are thinking of going abroad after completing their HSC.
