a senior lawyer and Mom-a housewife.
I am now(as of on July1,2004) in my final year of MSc engineering at The University
of Tokyo(Dept. of Electrical,Electronics and Information Engineering).

Extra Curricualar Activities
I was brought up in Comilla which is south-east
to DHAKA,the Bangladesh capital.
The schools I attended so far are- Missionary school(KG
to grade 4),Comilla Zilla School(grade 5&6),Comilla Cadet College(grade 7 to 12),BUET(CSE dept. -1 semister only),Osaka
University of foreign studies(1 yr. for intensive japanese course) and Tokyo University(continuing)

that so far I have a colorful academic background and the brightest of all those is my HSC result back home in 1996(topping
the combined merit list of Comilla Board securing 974 marks-this mark was the highest of the year through out the country
).

I am now in Japan under the Japanese Government Scholarship programme(Monbusho Scholarship).
My Undergraduate Thesis was done under Prof. Tsuchiya in the field of Millimeter-wave
Photonics.
Presently My Masters Thesis is being done under Prof. Yamashita in the field of Optical
Fiber Communication System Technology. Both of these Lab.s are part of the Dept. of Electrical,Electronics & Information
Engineering (http://www.ee.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/index.html) of the University of Tokyo.

My Interests

My cadet college friends still use to call me SHUVRO(kana baba)-the character created by
Humayun Ahmed -apprently for my moderately high power glasses.Actually I am also a fan of Shuvro.So,shuvro fans pls don`t
forget to knock me.........
At present,one of my passions is our cricket club-Bangladesh Tigers(http://www.geocities.com/bangladeshtigers/ )-cricket lovers please visit this site. Although, you will find very less of cricket in it. Actually, what we tried to do
is to make a platform and bring all similar-minded Bangladeshi expat.s living in Tokyo region on that platform.
